This body of work is based on my synaesthesia. I have produced several charcoal drawings which communicate a word in sign language. I am interested in sign language and how its discretion is reliant on the viewers understandings. I have made drawings that express a word that describes how I am questioning the way Art critics label Art. I am also applying my synaesthesia colours which relate to the language I am using. Together the colours and the images of hands produce something I find aesthetically pleasing which is an important factor of Art to me, yet the concept was a state of mind at the time of the making.
