Working through painting, print and etching I endeavour to explore the relationship of person and their memory. The process in which one remembers in particular the transitional period from the retrieval of a memory, through to conscious provides the person the opportunity to mould, mislead, and alter the memory to meet the need of the individual for the current specific time, place or audience. Using a visual narrative I will investigate the above-mentioned working primarily from retrieval cues. The end results are not clearly defined, as the physical and mental process will change.
